December is upon us. The final month of the year. The month that is filled with holidays and the gathering of friends and loved ones. Christmas parties. Twinkling lights. Blankets of fresh fallen snow. And let us not forget that Santa is checking his list - twice! Have you been nice???
We also are about to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We do this by honoring the sacrifices He made for us. In giving His life for our sins. Have you been worthy of His sacrifice???
Some of us gather with family and friends. And some of us are alone during this month of holidays. Let us remember to keep these people in our hearts and in our prayers.
Whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, or Kwanzaa; I hope you enjoy this festive month. That you embrace that which is important in your world. That your celebrations be filled with love, joy, peace, happiness, good health and blessings in abundance.
And as we wind up the year 2012, let us be thankful for all it has brought to us. Whether things may not have gone the way we would have liked, there are lessons to be learned from each event in our lives. They make us smarter .. the make us stronger ... and they prepare us for tomorrow. And God willing, may we each have many tomorrows to live the lessons we've learned today!
