I am delighted to say that my tree has a new branch - my new sister Karen and I have began communications - and we are now connected via FB. :)
Little by little, everything and everyone is slowly coming together. And my prayers are being answered.
How wonderful to be given the opportunity to see where I come from - my other half. To get to know the siblings I did not grow up with. Did we miss out on a lot? Absolutely. Do we have catching up to do? Absolutely. But now as adults, and mothers ... I think - hope - that we bring to the table a maturity, which may not have been present had all of this came to pass when we were younger. Perhaps yet another blessing.
We also share a mutual bond. Although my new sisters did grow up with our father .... we grew up without one another. So, I am certain that the newness of this situation is just as exciting for them as it is for me. At least I hope so! And why not? I am, awesome! (LOL)
How fortunate are we that our blessings continue to multiply....
